autonomIQ is a deep-tech startup emerging from TU Darmstadt, developing simplymill – an AI-driven software solution that automates and optimizes Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) for metalworking industries. Our technology targets precision manufacturing in single and small-batch production, addressing a major bottleneck in industrial efficiency: the manual, time-intensive process of programming CNC machines. Within the space manufacturing domain (upstream), simplymill enables suppliers and OEMs to produce complex, high-precision metal components for satellites, propulsion systems, and structural assemblies faster, more accurately, and with fewer resources. By automating process planning and toolpath generation, our solution significantly reduces programming times, energy consumption, and production costs—crucial advantages in a sector defined by low volumes, high complexity, and extreme quality standards. autonomIQ’s innovation leverages AI and process data learning to achieve fully autonomous CAM planning, bringing a step-change in manufacturing productivity for the space industry and beyond.
